7 Games Every PC Owner Should Have

1. Counter Strike: Global Offensive

CS:GO is one of the simplest fps games. It's one of the best-selling games in the world and it's a must have for every gamer.

2. Gang Beasts

Gang Beasts is a local multiplayer game, so you need to get your friends over to play this game. Everyone is controlling one silly human-like character and you have to kill each other, by pushing your friends off the building or throwing them in front of a train.

3. Grand Theft Auto 5

GTA 5 is the ultimate sandbox game. There is nothing you cannot do in GTA. There are missions as well as free roam. GTA Online, the multiplayer version of the game still has some issues, but multiplayer heists is a nice new game mod which adds a new spin to the game. Thanks to the modding community you'll never get bored with the game.

4. Rocket League

Rocket League is also most enjoyable, when you play it with friends, but this soccer-with-cars game is totally worth it.

5. Scrap Mechanic

Scrap Mechanic is basically virtual Lego. It's a sandbox game where you can build the vehicle of your dreams.

6. Portal 2

Portal 2 is a classic. While it may get boring after a while, it's definitely worth checking out.

7. Garry's Mod

Garry's Mod allowes users to create game mods. One of the most famous is Prop Hunt, which is a Hide & Seek, where you have to disguise yourself as an object.

Here are the 5 coolest GTA 5 mods!

Grand Theft Auto 5 has been available for pc since mid-April. Just a few days after it's release the first few mods appeared as well. Now after almost two months there are plenty of mods to choose from and here are the best 5.

5. Be a trucker - Trucking Missions
This mod does exactly what you think. You need to deliver different types of cargo to different locations. For example you need to deliver a tanker from the harbour to a depot on the other side of the map. It's fun messing around with it for a few minutes, but after a few rounds it gets pretty boring if you're not really into driving trucks. Even though it's not a full trucking simulator, it's probably the best one. Of course there are only a few trucks to choose from and there are only a few missions, but it's much more realistic than any other trucking simulator since it's in the world of Grand Theft Auto 5.

4. Play as a cop - PoliceMod
It may be boring to be a trucker in Los Santos, but if you are a part of the Los Santos Police Department you will always have something to do. You can go on duty, request a vehicle and a partner as well. As soon as you're on duty, you will be called to the scene of a crime and you will have to take out the bad guys and even chase them. To bad you can't pull over vehicles just yet.

3. Lift anything - Gravity Gun
This cool little mod brings the awesome gravity gun from Half Life to GTA 5. There is nothing to explain here. You just point at something press E and there you go. Also you can shoot the things you lifted. Do you even lift bro?

2. Apocalypse in San Andreas - Mayhem/Carmageddon Mod
This mod has a ton of cool features. One of them are car missiles, using which you can shoot cars that act as a missile. Car missiles are already a lot of fun, but the best feature of this mod is Variation Smash. Variation Smash makes all vehicles from the road fly randomly around, then crash, then fly again and so on. Variation Smash makes getting around pretty hard, but if that's not difficult enough just try Suck Smash. It does basically the same, except that now all the cars are flying towards you.

Here's a cool video which presents this mod: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT0HO8NiDYg

1. Mayday, Mayday - Angry Planes

WARNING: ORIGINAL VERSIONS OF THIS MOD CONTAINED MALWARE!

Angry Planes is the ultimate survival mod. All planes are trying to kill you! ALL!!! While most planes try to just crash into you, fighter jets try to take you out with their missiles and machine guns. In my opinion this is the coolest mod for GTA 5 right now, it's very unfortunate that it contains malware.

So these are the top 5 mods for Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC.

The ULTIMATE 800$ 1080p gaming build!

Many people want to get into pc gaming, but some of them don't want to start at the low-end. They want to enjoy their new games at maxed-out settings, but they wouldn't like to spend 10 thousand dollars on it. If you're that person, this is the build for you!
To play triple-A titles in 4K at max settings you need a very good computer and a ton of money. But 1080p is also pretty good and mid-range computers can handle it well.

To start things off I chose the Intel Core i5-4460 quad-core processor. With it's 3.2 GHz base clock, this is a perfect gaming cpu. Of course there are more powerful ones out there, but for 1080p gaming this is more than enough.

For the motherboard I chose the ASRock Z97 Extreme4. This is not a cheap motherboard, but it's worth it. Especially if you want to upgrade your build with another graphics card later. It also has plenty of usb ports: six USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and also an onboard USB 3.0 header for your case.

The graphics card was not an easy choice. In order to run games like Grand Theft Auto 5 at 60 fps in 1080p, you need at least a GTX 960 or an R9 280. But to run it at ultra settings, those are not enough. It came down to the XFX R9 290X 4GB Double Dissipation and the EVGA GTX 970 SuperSC 4GB with ACX 2.0. Both are great cards and they cost about the same. The benchmarks show very similar results in Grand Theft Auto 5 since the game is well-optimized for AMD and Nvidia cards as well, but generally Nvidia cards perform better. And they also have G-Sync, which is cool. So I went with the GTX 970.

There are a lot of great memory sticks out there. One of the best are the Corsair Vengeance, the HyperX Fury and the Crucial Ballistix Sport. You can go with any of them they are all great, but I went with the 8 GB (2x4) of DDR3 1600 MHz Corsair Vengeance sticks.

For storage I went with a WD Caviar Blue 1TB hard drive. It's not as fast as an SSD, but it gives you 1 TB of storage for a low price. If you have some extra money I recommend getting an SSD as well.

You can go with any 500W power supply, just make sure that they are safe and reliable. I choose the Corsair CX500. It has an 80+ Bronze certification and it costs just 50 bucks.

We have finally arrived to the last part of this build. The case. Many people recommend the new Corsair 100R. It's a mid-tower case, with great cable management and room for expansion. It also has a big built-in window and two USB 3.0 ports.

So if you want to get a great 1080p gaming rig for just 800$, this is your best choice. Make sure to check out the parts-list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9YZR99
